Marco Rinaldi is a Post Doctoral researcher at the Mobilab group of the University of Luxembourg since 2016.
After obtaining his B.Sc. in ITC Engineering and M.Sc. in Automation and Control Engineering from the University of Pavia (IT),
he pursued a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven), which he obtained in March 2016.
His research interests include development and application of advanced control theory to complex flow networks, with a specific focus
on both private and public transportation networks, as well as developing solutions and algorithms for the Network Sensor Location Problem (NSLP).
He is reviewer for several journals if the field of transportation, including Transportation Research Part B, Part C, Journal of ITS and IEEE Transactions on ITS.
