Teethat Vongvanich is a PhD researcher in transportation engineering at the University of Luxembourg. He obtained his Master of Engineering in Urban Management and his Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Kyoto University.

His research focuses on travel demand modeling, dynamic origin–destination (OD) matrix estimation, and the use of crowdsourced and multi-source mobility data. He is particularly interested in capturing demand heterogeneity and uncertainty in large-scale transport systems.

Prior to his PhD, he was a student researcher at Kyoto University’s Intelligent Transportation Systems Laboratory and contributed to the DARUMA project, a multinational initiative on predicting urban mobility changes using deep learning. He has published in Data Science for Transportation and presented his work at international conferences.
